The Hollywood Service Station
Built 1926
110 West Main Street
(Currently Island Bean)
The old Hollywood Service Station was once one of several places in downtown where you could fill up your gas tank. Warren Carpenter was the original proprietor. The station was once Sunoco then Texaco. The gas station portion closed in 2005, and Island Bean took over the whole building. There is a small market and a specialty coffee counter inside with patio seating outside. The Hollywood is on the state register of historic places.
